Located in Saco Lake, New Hampshire, a bath house that provides an escape or pause from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and creates experiences that make the users more aware of the here and now-ness of the moment through the use of isolation and strong contrasts in material and senses.
One would enter down the ramp into the concrete structure at ground level. After a long day of hiking, one would first soak in the hot pool and slowly ascend from pool to pool, losing track of time. One descends down the ramps while enjoying the views of nature- with the chance to enter the saunas.
